IK Adventure / Undercity and Widowers Wood

Chatting with Kieran, we have realised that we never finished Undercity and have yet to start Widowers Wood. Because of this, we are going to aim for roughly one Tuesday a month to play a scenario or two.

This can be done with 2 players (proxying as 4 players), but more are welcome if anyone is interested?

We will be resuming the Undercity Campaign at Chapter 5: Safe Passage. Characters available will include the base set (Trollkin Warrior, Gunmage, Alchemist, Gobber + Labourjack) and the Black River Irregulars expansion (Arcanist, Battle Chaplain, Rhulic Pistoleer, Tactical Officer).

Looking back at a photo of my character "sheet" from Chapter 4, almost a year ago, Characters will start with 20XP.

I plan to continue with my Gardek Stonebrow Trollkin Warrior, with the Guardian, Vendetta and Walk it Off upgrades.

Blackriver Irregulars adds rules for Hero Characters going "Epic". I need to read up on the level cap, and how Epic works, but I forsee that we continue building characters from Undercity through the One-Shots, at which point we "save" them and start fresh with Widowers Wood (all base set and KS heroes available). Then once we complete WW, we can compare the levels of the WW and UC characters and fudge it a little if needed to put them on parity, before tackling Dead Men Walking - using *any* characters of our choosing (DMW expansion works with both UC and WW, so if there are game-specific features, we can decide at the time what to do, but it should be all compatible).

Rough estimate - this should keep us going for a year or so? (playing once per month, assuming that we can knock out 2 missions per night) 😛

Just a reminder for the next scenario; we gained 12XP apiece from Scenario 5, so we head into 6 with a total of 32XP 🙂
