I’ll have Epic, Infinity, and a bunch of boardgames including Aristeia, Pandemic: Rising Tide, Settlers of Catan and anything else I remember to bring.
I’m currently planning to be available for Epic Armageddon in the morning, and then an Epic 40k (previous edition) megabattle with Chris and Jake (and others?) in the afternoon.
ooh Epic 40k! I’ve got a copy of 1st edition space marine somewhere too!
Ian – I’m up for a game of EA in the morning if you fancy smashing me to pieces? Do you guys have a points value you normally play to so I can prepare a list in advance? Any house rules I need to be aware of?
Yep! A ‘full’ game is 3,000 points but that’s going to be 2-3 hours for a newer player. 2k might be a bit more manageable. About the only house rules we use are for area terrain like woodlands and ruins, which we treat as being a solid block as high as the highest point of the terrain piece, then apply the usual ability to see in/out/within 10cm, but you can never see through.
Note that we’re mostly terrainaholics (me in particular!), so the rule book guideline of two pieces of terrain per 60cm square gets taken liberally…
Everything!
I’ll be there in the morning with Epic!
Was hoping to make it for abit but looks like it’s not going to happen unfortunately. Should be at next club night though
